What can I say.  It is hard not to watch this video and not to be in awe of the beautiful world we live in, and wonder how can we be so off?

This is a rough cut for the first 6 minutes of the hour long film I am working on.

…Green is in the middle of the visible, seven-color spectrum and thus epitomizes the qualities of balance and harmony. It is the color we relate to in nature, trees and plants. Hence Green Tara’ s color represents a blending of white, yellow, and blue – colors which symbolize, respectively, the functions of pacifying, increasing, and destroying. Green also denotes youthful vigor and activity and hence the Green Tara is always shown as a young girl having a mischievous and playful nature.

The Buddhist Lord of karma (action), Amoghasiddhi, is also associated with this color, thus reiterating that green in Buddhist thought is the color of action….

I continue on my Green Dream journey and you have been important part of that.   Nothing gets done in a vacuum and while at points I have felt like I am alone, in those times something usually happens to remind me that there have been so many people who have helped in direct and not so direct but very important ways. Who when my energy started depleting, have taken the time to encourage and show me they believed in this journey. I would like to Thank You and to remind you that you are part of this and your wonderful energy and enthusiasm, feedback and financial or services support has been intrinsic to this process.

My journey with Green Dream has intriguingly borough me to Montreal.

I am sitting in a coffee shop and listening to a heart felt conversation about a break up, where one person is speaking in English and the other one in French.  A truly bilingual conversation, where I can only understand the half of what is being said.

I am thinking that Canada might be the only country (at least to my knowledge) where a person can get the chance to be an immigrant twice.  After years of learning to jive with the English Canadian culture, now I feel like an immigrant again in the French Canadian Culture.  But in a way it is a privileged to be a humble learner again.

I am starting to understand that there is a bit of a schizophrenia in the Canadian psyche, where half of the country feels like immigrants in the other half of the country.  There is something unique in this dichotomy. It reminds me of the right and left hemisphere of our brains, which process information quite differently but which are both needed for our proper function.  And while we tend to be dominant in one hemisphere, a person achieves full balance when they use the right and the left hemisphere.
It seem like in Montreal embracing the two cultures is everyday life occurrence, where conversations flow from French to English to French. And I feel fortunate to be here, even if I am missing the concrete meaning of the French language I understand it in spirit.

Interestingly it feels like coming to Montreal has brought me a full circle.  This buildings remind me of the soviet style apartment buildings where my Green Dream story first began.  I rent a little desk studio space in the building on the left (picture above)

The subtle beauty I have been discovering after I spent some time getting over my green addiction.  There isn’t much green here.  It was sad in the beggining, very sad.  I am learning to deal with it and appreciate what is here.

On my walks in the Mile End I have been noticing lots of hearts in the street art.

Ето как мислим да изненадаме марсианците в гръб с обич и красота за Землянския си празник:

* Рано-рано от зарана доброволци алпинисти и катерачи спускат от централни сгради и кръстовища обемно-мащабни трансперанти със про-землянски послания.

** 11 часа в градинката на Народното събрание ще ги изненадаме с изложба на Красиви Землянски Снимки на фотографи от Photosynthesis*, ученици от Художествената гимназия и  студенти специалност „плакат” в Художествената академия.
