Нa 22-ри април – един ден от всичките 365/6 в годината на Земята, по-често се сещаме откъде идваме и накъде отиваме. Празнуваме землянския си произход и се радваме, че не сме от марсианците с тъмни костюми и мисли. Тъй като е истински съвестно, вашето централно землянско управление (ЦЗУ), ще ви покани да обичате, празнувате и се радвате освен на всеки ден, особено много на 22-ри април, като завършек на един съвестен априлски землянски месец на почиствания (http://mesecnazemiata.blogspot.com/). Ето как мислим да изненадаме марсианците в гръб с обич и красота за Землянския си празник:

UBC is asking for feedback on its three campus plans, all of which reduce the UBC Farm from 24 to 8 hectares. Feedback can be given online up to November 7.
This is an important opportunity to influence the direction UBC takes. We want to ensure they hear the voices of thousands of people who want to save the Farm at its current 24 hectare size & location.
Please help give a message to UBC that the 24 hectare Farm should be preserved.

Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver
While filming some scenes for Green Dream in Queen Elizabeth park in Vancouver, I stumbled on an artist who was telling me about the city’s plan to cut down 70 trees in order to create better views of the downtown. An interesting prospect in a city where rainy clouds cover the view for the larger part of the year. Local citizens have tried to raise awareness with events and a petition against the decision. I remember signing the petition thinking about what my friend Blair blatantly blurted out when I told him about the issues: ‘Like I go to the park to look at the city…’
